Growing up as a kid, while I listened to my parents discuss my dad’s doctor visit from my bedroom, sorting baseball and football cards, I overheard my mom say, “The doctor said if you had gone back to work, you would be much healthier.” That was the day I decided and committed to working for my parents.
My grades in school improved immediately, and my dedication to making my parents less worried was much more important than making them proud. Somehow, I think they knew what they were doing, but then I wonder if I was just a part of the moment of understanding life at a young age.
Working is not only physically, mentally, and financially healthy, those characteristics are self-rewarding if you put your heart into it and do it for the right reasons.

Work through your problems, don’t dwell on them.
