“Rat therapy” refers to the practice of utilizing domesticated rats as therapy animals, similar to dogs or cats. These intelligent, social animals can form strong bonds with their handlers and are well-suited for therapy work due to their small size, trainability, and affectionate nature.
“Therapy” is shorthand for “There apply.” I applied this theory to my personal therapy, which suggests that therapy with rats is better and more effective than therapy with dogs and cats, based on my life experiences. All are effective, providing comfort and support based on individual needs.
Ruby was named “Ruby” for my mom. I did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to my mom in person, as she died distantly proud in my heart. Ruby only has a few days left. I told Ruby to tell my mother I love her and I’m not planning on coming home anytime soon.
