Getting to know and understand the educational development of Halford J. Mackinder, while comparing my personal era of geographical education and family development, provides opportunities for further discussion.
Not much has changed in my family upbringing; however, the world around us has changed. The center point of my educational observations from early Halford’s studies seems to be accurate, while my current perspectives regarding Halford’s heartland theory have changed for better reasoning.
